STREET MACHINE February 2026 ISSUE ON SALE NOW!
We’ve put together a cracking read in the February 2026 issue of Street Machine, available now!
Our February cover car is a menacing XB Falcon hardtop that was once Jai Schulter’s iconic ‘Killer Tomata’ Super Stock car, reimagined for the street by current owner, Scott Konndouras. The XC-fronted XB is still plenty tough, but Ford fans may not enjoy the choice of powerplant!
Of course, a massive highlight this issue is our coverage of the biggest Street Machine Summernats that ever was! Summernats 38 was epic in every sense of the word, with stonking skids, smoking-hot new metal, record-breaking numbers in the dyno cell, awesome live music and some dead-set characters roaming the grounds of Exhibition Park in Canberra. You’ll find all that and more in our bumper 26-page Summernats feature.
You might recall reading about Andrew Broadhead’s HJ GTS Monaro in an earlier issue of SM, but it’s back and badder than ever following a ground-up rebuild with a tough new Harrop-blown LS and a bunch more improvements.
Another repeat offender is Jason Waye with his FOXSAKE Barra-powered Mustang. Jason has been a supporter of Street Machine Drag Challenge from just about day dot, and his Mustang has levelled up big-time with an all-new powertrain, rear clip, classy new interior and a whole bunch more power. It went straight into the eights on debut, with plenty more fasts still to be had.
Edin Dervisevic took his all-motor 632ci HK Monaro to Summernats 37 and proved that cubic-inch substitutes are overrated, throwing down an utterly bonkers 1098hp at the hubs the old-fashioned way – cubes, compression and camshaft!
The Race of Gentlemen is touted as The Greatest Race on Earth. Taking place on the beach in Wildwood, New Jersey, it’s a truly unique event for traditional hot rodders. Armed with a 35mm camera, intrepid Aussie-expat photojournalist Matt Reekie has done an incredible job of capturing what makes the event so rad for the Feb issue of SM.
Nathan De Vries was on the hunt for ‘something different’ when he happened upon this ’69 Chevelle, and has gradually transformed it into a killer pro tourer, powered by a howling 440ci Dart LS.
Everyone has a Gemini in their past, but they’ve been constantly front of mind for Michael Khodr. He’s long been a Gemini guy, and this one is a rocket, destined for the nine-second zone with turbo Isuzu power!
Adelaide Auto Expo is a huge deal for car nuts from the City of Churches and beyond, with some of Australia’s best street machines flocking to South Australia to strut their stuff.
This super-smooth VL Turbo is the result of a father-and-son build. Not bad considering one of the co-owners is just eight years old!
All this and more in the February 2026 issue of Street Machine, on sale now!
